Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْرِعُوا بِجَنَ
Body (Matn)
ائِزِكُمْ فَإِنْ كَانَ خَيْرًا عَجَّلْتُمُوهُ إِلَيْهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ شَرًّا أَلْقَيْتُمُوهُ عَنْ عَوَاتِقِكُمْ أَوْ قَالَ عَنْ ظُهُورِكُمْ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Hasten with your funeral processions. If it [the deceased] was righteous, then you are hastening it to good. And if it was otherwise, then it is an evil you are removing from your necks.'
