عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ وَالْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ

English Translation

Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The mu'adhdhin is trusted, and the imam is a guarantor. O Allah, guide the mu'adhdhins and forgive the imams.'
