English Translation

Rawh narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk. He leaves his food, drink, and desires for My sake. Fasting is for Me and I shall reward it. And a good deed is rewarded tenfold.'
