Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ جَاءَ مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ أَتَى فَاحِشَةً فَرَدَّهُ مِرَارًا قَالَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهِ فَرُجِمَ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْنَا فَرَجَمْنَاهُ
قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْنَا إِلَى الْحَرَّةِ فَرَجَمْنَاهُ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنْ الْعَشِيِّ قَالَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ سَقَطَتْ عَلَى أَبِي كَلِمَةٌ

English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) narrated: Ma'iz ibn Malik came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have committed adultery.' the Prophet ﷺ turned away from him. He came again from the other side and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have committed adultery.' He turned away from him. He came again and said the same. When he testified against himself four times, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Are you insane?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Then stone him.' He was stoned. When the stones hurt him, he fled, but they caught up with him and stoned him to death.
