حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَالِدًا يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ
سَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَرَوْنَ أَهْلَ عِلِّيِّينَ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ لَمِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعَمَا فَقَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ مَعَ مُجَالِدٍ عَلَى الطِّنْفِسَةِ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ عَلَى عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ

مجالدا يقول أشهد على أبي الوداك
English Translation
Yahya ibn Zakariyya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us, he said: I heard Mujalid say: I testify about Abu al-Waddak that he testified about Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) that he heard him say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, death will be brought in the form of a spotted ram and placed between Paradise and the Fire. Then a caller will say: O people of Paradise! They will look fearfully. Then a caller will say: O people of the Fire! They will look hopefully. Then it will be said: Do you know what this is? They will all say: Yes, this is death. Then it will be slaughtered. The caller will say: O people of Paradise, eternity and no death; and O people of the Fire, eternity and no death.'
