‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَسَنٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏حَمَّادٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏نَهَى عَنْ اسْتِئْجَارِ الْأَجِيرِ حَتَّى يُبَيَّنَ لَهُ أَجْرُهُ وَعَنْ إِلْقَاءِ ‏ ‏الْحَجَرِ ‏ ‏وَاللَّمْسِ ‏ ‏وَالنَّجْشِ ‏

English Translation

Hasan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited hiring a laborer until his wages are made clear to him.
