حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ

أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي شَيْئًا غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Zayd ibn Aslam informed us, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Do not write from me anything other than the Quran, and whoever has written from me anything other than the Quran, let him erase it. Narrate from me, and there is no harm in that. And whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.'
