حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنِ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ النّ
ُعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ بِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ النَّارَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا

English Translation
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Sa'id ibn Masruq informed us, from Sumayy, from al-Nu'man ibn Abi 'Ayyash, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fasts one day in the path of Allah, Allah will distance his face from the Fire by seventy years.'
