‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يُونُسُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ الْعَطَّارَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏قَتَادَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏ذَبَحَ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَكَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَيْهَا ‏

English Translation

Yunus narrated to us: Aban — meaning Ibn Zayd al-'Attar — narrated to us from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) that he saw the Prophet ﷺ slaughter his sacrificial animal (udhiyyah) with his own hand, and he would say the takbir over it.
