Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that a man from the Jews killed a girl from the Ansar for her jewelry, then threw her into a well and crushed her head with a stone. She was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while she still had some life in her. He said: 'Did so-and-so kill you?' She shook her head: 'No.' He said: 'Did so-and-so kill you?' She shook her head: 'No.' He said: 'Did so-and-so kill you?' She nodded: 'Yes.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that his head be crushed between two stones.
