Yahya narrated from Hisham ibn Hassan, from Muhammad, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ at Khaybar and said: 'The donkeys have been eaten!' — twice. Then he came and said: 'The donkeys have been finished off!' the Prophet ﷺ then announced: 'Indeed, Allah and His Messenger forbid you from the flesh of domestic donkeys, for it is impure.'
