English Translation
Waki' and Ibn Ja'far narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: There was an alarm in Madinah, so the Prophet ﷺ borrowed a horse belonging to Abu Talhah called Mandub. He rode it and returned saying: 'We found nothing' — or he said: 'We found it to be a sea [i.e., fast and smooth like the sea].'
