حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ ا

للَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْكَبُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ثَبَجَ الْبَحْرِ أَوْ ثَبَجَ هَذَا الْبَحْرِ هُمْ الْمُلُوكُ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ أَوْ كَالْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ

English Translation

Abu Salamah narrated to us, Malik ibn Anas informed us, from Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Some people of my ummah will ride the breadth of the sea — or the depth of the sea — as kings upon thrones.' Umm Haram said: 'O Messenger of Allah, supplicate Allah to make me among them.' He said: 'You are among them.' She rode the sea during the time of Mu'awiyah and fell from her mount when she disembarked, and she died.
