Hadith #205

حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ إِذْ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَ
رُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ هَذَا مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation
Mu'ammal narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, he heard a man saying: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. the Prophet ﷺ said: Upon the fitrah (natural disposition). The man said: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He said: He has come out of the Fire. They looked and found him to be a goatherd whose prayer time had come.'
