عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يُتِمُّونَ التَّكْبِيرَ إِذَا رَفَعُوا وَإِذَا وَضَعُوا

English Translation

Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm who said: I heard Anas saying: the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to complete the takbir when they raised and when they lowered — they would say the takbir when prostrating and when rising.
