حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُخْتَارُ بْنُ فُلْفُلٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الرِّسَالَةَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ قَدْ انْقَطَع
َتْ فَلَا رَسُولَ بَعْدِي وَلَا نَبِيَّ قَالَ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ قَالَ قَالَ وَلَكِنْ الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ قَالَ رُؤْيَا الرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَهِيَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَجْزَاءِ النُّبُوَّةِ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, al-Mukhtar ibn Fulful narrated to us, Anas ibn Malik narrated to us who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, the Message and Prophethood have ceased. There will be no messenger after me and no prophet." This was distressing to the people. He ﷺ said: "But there will be mubashshirat (glad tidings)." They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what are the mubashshirat?' He said: "The dream of a Muslim. It is one of the parts of prophethood."
