English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, regarding the saying of Allah (عز وجل): 'the Prophet ﷺ is more worthy of the believers than themselves' [33:6], from Abu Salamah, from Jabir, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'I am more worthy of every believer than himself. Whoever dies leaving behind a debt, it is upon me (to pay). And whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs.'
