حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَطَّابِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيَّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَ
لَّمَ صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ

English Translation
Husayn — meaning Ibn Muhammad — and Abd al-Jabbar ibn Muhammad al-Khattabi narrated to us, they said: Ubaydullah — meaning Ibn Amr al-Raqqi — narrated to us, from Abd al-Karim, from Ata, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever has a plot of land, let him cultivate it. If he cannot cultivate it, let him give it to his Muslim brother [to cultivate]. Let him not rent it out.'
