حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ

اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ السَّاعَةِ وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ مَنْفُوسَةٌ الْيَوْمَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ

English Translation

Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said a month before his death: 'You ask me about the Hour, but its knowledge is only with Allah. I swear by Allah, there is no soul alive today that will still be living after one hundred years.'
