حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَمْرَضُ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٌ وَلَا مُسْلِمٌ وَلَا مُسْلِمَةٌ إِلَّا حَطَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطَايَاهُ
English Translation
Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) — that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'No believing man or woman, no Muslim man or woman, falls ill except that Allah عز وجل removes from him his sins, just as a tree sheds its leaves.'
