حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَشَيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَذَبَحَتْ لَنَا شَاةً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّ
هُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَدَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَدَخَلَ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَاجْعَلْهُ عَلِيًّا فَدَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ ثُمَّ أُتِينَا بِطَعَامٍ فَأَكَلْنَا فَقُمْنَا إِلَى صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا ثُمَّ أُتِينَا بِبَقِيَّةِ الطَّعَامِ ثُمَّ قُمْنَا إِلَى الْعَصْرِ وَمَا مَسَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا مَاءً

English Translation
Abu Sa'id narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) who said: I walked with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the house of a woman from the Ansar. She slaughtered a sheep for us, and the Prophet ﷺ ate from it. Then she brought a plate of fresh dates and he ate from them. Then he performed wudu for Dhuhr and prayed. Then he came back and she brought him the remaining food. He ate, then he stood and prayed 'Asr without performing wudu.
