Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِي
ِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ أَعْطَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَأَبْغَضُ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ فَمَا زَالَ يُعْطِينِي حَتَّى صَارَ وَإِنَّهُ أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ

English Translation
Zakariyya ibn 'Adiyy narrated to us, from Ibn al-Mubarak, from Yunus, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Safwan ibn Umayyah who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me on the day of Hunayn, and he was the most hated of people to me. He continued giving me until he became the most beloved of people to me.
