حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشُّعَيْثِيُّ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ب

ْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَدَنِيِّ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُقَامُ الْحُدُودُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ وَلَا يُسْتَقَادُ فِيهَا

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdillāh al-Shuʿaythī narrated to us, from al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Madanī, from Ḥakīm ibn Ḥizām (رضي الله عنه) who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Legal punishments (ḥudūd) are not to be carried out in the mosques, nor is retaliation (qiṣāṣ) to be executed therein.'
