حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَرْحُومٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ مَ
يْمُونٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَرَكَ اللِّبَاسَ وَهُوَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ تَوَاضُعًا لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ فِي حُلَلِ الْإِيمَانِ أَيَّهَا شَاءَ

English Translation
Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us: Saʿīd narrated to us, saying: Abū Marḥūm ʿAbd al-Raḥīm ibn Maymūn narrated to me, from Sahl ibn Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī, from his father [Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī] (رضي الله عنه) who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Whoever leaves wearing fine clothes while he is able to, out of humility before Allāh, Allāh will call him on the Day of Resurrection before the heads of creation and give him the choice of whichever garment of faith he wishes to wear.'
