‏ ‏ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏ ‏إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمْ الْفُجَّارُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يَحْلِفُونَ ‏ ‏وَيَأْثَمُونَ ‏

English Translation

Then he ﷺ said: 'The merchants are the wicked ones.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, has not Allāh made trade lawful and forbidden usury?' He ﷺ said: 'Yes, but they swear oaths and sin.'
