حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَسْ
وَدُ وَرُبَّمَا ذَكَرَ شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَابِعُوا بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ فَإِنَّ مُتَابَعَةً بَيْنَهُمَا تَزِيدُ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَالرِّزْقِ وَتَنْفِيَانِ الذُّنُوبَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ

English Translation
Aswad ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us: Sharīk narrated to us, from ʿĀṣim, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ. Aswad said: Sometimes Sharīk mentioned it from ʿĀṣim, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir, from his father [ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah] (رضي الله عنه) who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Whoever dies with no pledge of allegiance upon his neck, he dies a death of pre-Islamic ignorance.'
