Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ إِنْسَانٍ يَكُونُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَيَقُولُ حِينَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَقُومَ سُبْحَ
انَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا كَانَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسِ فَحَدَّثْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ يَزِيدَ بْنَ خُصَيْفَةَ قَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
Yūnus narrated to us: Layth narrated to us, from Yazīd, meaning Ibn al-Hād, from Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn Jaʿfar who said: It reached me that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'There is no person who sits in a gathering and when he wishes to leave says: Glory be to You, O Allāh, and all praise is Yours; I bear witness that there is no god but You; I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You — except that whatever occurred in that gathering will be forgiven for him.'
