حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ عَبْدًا لَهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ غَيْرُهُ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَابْتَاعَهُ مِنْهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ النَّحَّامِ
English Translation
Husayn narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) that a man freed a slave of his while he had no other property. the Prophet ﷺ revoked his emancipation, and Nu'aym ibn 'Abdullah bought the slave from him.
