حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْأَشْيَبُ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى فِي الْعُمْرَى أَنَّهَا لِمَنْ وُهِبَتْ لَهُ
English Translation
Hasan al-Ashyab narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, that Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled regarding lifelong gifts ('umra) that they belong to the one to whom they were given.
