English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us: I asked Jabir about tawaf around the Ka'bah. He said: 'We used to perform tawaf and touch the Black Stone — the opening corner and the closing corner. We did not perform tawaf after the Fajr prayer until the sun rose, nor after the 'Asr prayer until the sun set. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The sun rises between two horns of Shaytan."'
