Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَ
ةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا ذِئْبَانِ جَائِعَانِ أُرْسِلَا فِي غَنَمٍ أَفْسَدَ لَهَا مِنْ حِرْصِ الْمَرْءِ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالشَّرَفِ لِدِينِهِ

English Translation
ʿAlī ibn Baḥr narrated to us, he said: ʿĪsā ibn Yūnus narrated to us, from Zakariyyā, from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Saʿd ibn Zurārah, that Ibn Kaʿb ibn Mālik narrated to him, from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ used to eat with three fingers and would lick his fingers before wiping them.
