حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَبْ
دِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَدَعَا لَهَا وَحَرَّمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ وَدَعَوْتُ لَهُمْ فِي مُدِّهَا وَصَاعِهَا مِثْلَ مَا دَعَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِمَكَّةَ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, he said: Wuhayb narrated to us, he said: ʿAmr ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us, from ʿAbbād ibn Tamīm, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Zayd, from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, that he said: 'Ibrāhīm عليه السلام sanctified Makkah and supplicated for it. And I have sanctified Madīnah as Ibrāhīm sanctified Makkah, and I have supplicated for them regarding their mudd and ṣāʿ (measures), just as Ibrāhīm supplicated for Makkah.'
