قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رِج
َالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أُعْتِقَتْ الْأَمَةُ وَهِيَ تَحْتَ الْعَبْدِ فَأَمْرُهَا بِيَدِهَا فَإِنْ هِيَ أَقَرَّتْ حَتَّى يَطَأَهَا فَهِيَ امْرَأَتُهُ لَا تَسْتَطِيعُ فِرَاقَهُ

English Translation
Ḥasan narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us, he said: ʿUbaydullāh ibn Abī Jaʿfar narrated to us, from al-Faḍl ibn al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAmr ibn Umayyah al-Ḍamrī, he said: I heard men among the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: When a slave woman is freed while she is under a slave husband, the matter is in her hand. If she consents and he consummates with her, she becomes his wife and cannot separate from him.
