English Translation

Muḥammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: ʿAmr ibn Dīnār informed me, from Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim, who said: I lost a camel of mine on the day of ʿArafah, so I went to ʿArafah seeking it. There I found Muḥammad ﷺ standing among the people at ʿArafah on his camel on the evening of ʿArafah, and that was after the revelation had been sent down to him. Abū al-Yamān narrated to us, he said: Shuʿayb informed us, from al-Zuhrī, who said: ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim informed me that Muḥammad ibn Jubayr said: Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim told me that while he was traveling with the Prophet ﷺ — and he mentioned the ḥadīth, meaning the like of the ḥadīth of Maʿmar. Yaʿqūb narrated to us, he said: the nephew of Ibn Shihāb narrated to us, from his uncle, who said: ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim informed me that Muḥammad ibn Jubayr said: Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim told me that while he was traveling with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ returning from Ḥunayn — and he mentioned its meaning.
