حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ تَمِيمًا الدَّارِيَّ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا ر

َسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا السُّنَّةُ فِي الرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ يُسْلِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَالَ هُوَ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِمَحْيَاهُ وَمَمَاتِهِ

English Translation
Tamīm al-Dārī narrated: I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, what is the sunnah regarding a man from the People of the Book who accepts Islam at the hands of a Muslim man?' He said: 'He is the closest of people to him in his life and his death.'
