Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī al-Juʿfī said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yazīd ibn Jābir narrated it to us, from Abū al-Ashʿath al-Ṣanʿānī, from Aws ibn Aws who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever performs ghusl and causes others to perform ghusl (i.e., by intimacy with his wife requiring ghusl), goes early and arrives early, draws near and listens attentively without engaging in idle talk — for every step he takes, he will have the reward of a year of fasting and night prayer."
