حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ فَدَنَا مِنْ الْإِمَامِ وَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامِه
َا وَقِيَامِهَا حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ غَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ

English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Ādam narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us, from al-Awzāʿī, from Ḥassān ibn ʿAṭiyyah, from Abū al-Ashʿath al-Ṣanʿānī, from Aws ibn Aws al-Thaqafī who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying: "Whoever performs ghusl and causes others to perform ghusl on the day of Jumuʿah, goes early and arrives early, walks and does not ride, draws near to the Imām, listens attentively and does not engage in idle talk — for every step he takes, he will have the reward of a year of fasting and night prayer." ʿAlī ibn Isḥāq narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us, from al-Awzāʿī, Ḥassān ibn ʿAṭiyyah narrated to me, Abū al-Ashʿath al-Ṣanʿānī narrated to us, he said: Ibn Aws al-Thaqafī narrated to me, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ — and he mentioned a similar meaning, except he said: "then went early and arrived early."
