English Translation
Ṣafwān [said], from Yazīd ibn Abī ʿUbayd, from Salamah, who said: When we arrived at Khaybar, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saw fires being lit and said: "What are these fires being lit for?" They said: For the meat of domestic donkeys. He said: "Break the pots and pour out what is in them." A man from the people stood and said: O Messenger of Allāh, shall we pour out what is in them and wash them? He said: "Or that [will suffice]."
