‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏بَقِيَّةُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏خَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏مَا أَكَلَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ طَعَامًا أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدَيْهِ ‏

English Translation

Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-ʿAbbās narrated to us, Baqiyyah narrated to us, Baḥīr ibn Saʿd narrated to us, Khālid ibn Maʿdān narrated to us, from al-Miqdām ibn Maʿdī Karib رضي الله عنه, that he heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: "None of you eats food more beloved to Allāh عز وجل than [food earned] from the work of his own hands."
