Hadith #114
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا أَكَلَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ طَعَامًا أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدَيْهِ
English Translation
Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-ʿAbbās narrated to us, Baqiyyah narrated to us, Baḥīr ibn Saʿd narrated to us, Khālid ibn Maʿdān narrated to us, from al-Miqdām ibn Maʿdī Karib رضي الله عنه, that he heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: "None of you eats food more beloved to Allāh عز وجل than [food earned] from the work of his own hands."
