حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بُدَيْلُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي
طَلْحَةَ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْهَوْزَنِيِّ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيْعَةً فَإِلَيَّ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَارِثِهِ وَأَنَا مَوْلَى مَنْ لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ أَرِثُ مَالَهُ وَأَفُكُّ عَانَهُ وَالْخَالُ مَوْلَى مَنْ لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ يَرِثُ مَالَهُ وَيَفُكُّ عَانَهُ

English Translation
Abū Kāmil narrated to us: Ḥammād — meaning Ibn Zayd — narrated to us, he said: Budayl ibn Maysarah narrated to us, from ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭalḥah, from Rāshid ibn Saʿd, from Abū ʿĀmir al-Hawzanī, from al-Miqdām, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever leaves a debt or dependents, then it falls to me. Whoever leaves wealth, it is for his heirs. I am the mawlā of one who has no mawlā — I inherit his wealth and release his captive. And the maternal uncle is the mawlā of one who has no mawlā — he inherits his wealth and releases his captive.'
