English Translation

Muḥammad ibn Muṣʿab narrated to us: al-Awzāʿī narrated to us, from Abū al-Najāshī, from Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj, he said: We would pray ʿAṣr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then slaughter a camel and divide it into ten portions, then cook it and eat well-cooked meat before the sun set. And we would pray Maghrib [early enough that one could still see clearly].
