حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى ال
لَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَصَلَّى عَلَى أَهْلِ أُحُدٍ صَلَاتَهُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ وَإِنِّي شَهِيدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْحَوْضِ أَلَا وَإِنِّي قَدْ أُعْطِيتُ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ أَوْ مَفَاتِيحَ الْأَرْضِ إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي وَلَكِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا

English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out one day and prayed over the martyrs of Uḥud as one prays the funeral prayer. Then he returned to the minbar and said: "I am a forerunner for you, and I am a witness over you. By Allah, I am looking at the Ḥawḍ (Pool) right now. I have been given the keys to the treasuries of the earth — or the keys of the earth. By Allah, I do not fear that you will associate partners after me, but I fear that you will compete with one another for it."
