حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ مِشْرَحَ بْنَ هَاعَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ أَرَقُّ قُلُوبًا وَأَلْيَنُ أَفْئِدَةً وَأَنْجَعُ طَاعَةً
English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The people of Yemen are the most tender in hearts and the softest in disposition, and the most responsive in obedience."
