حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ
بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ ذُو الْبِجَادَيْنِ إِنَّهُ أَوَّاهٌ وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ كَثِيرَ الذِّكْرِ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَيَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ فِي الدُّعَاءِ

English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said of a man called Dhū al-Bijādayn: "He is an awwāh (one who frequently turns to Allah in supplication)." That was because he used to frequently remember Allah عز وجل in the Quran and raise his voice in supplication.
