English Translation

Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Anas ibn Sīrīn, from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn al-Minhāl, from his father, who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to fast the white days, and that is the fasting of the month." ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, Hammām narrated to us, and Anas ibn Sīrīn narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Qatādah ibn Milḥān al-ʿAbsī, from his father, who said: "the Prophet ﷺ used to command fasting" — and he mentioned the same.
