English Translation
Ḥasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us, Abū ʿUshānah narrated to me, that Sufyān ibn Wahb al-Khawlānī narrated to him that he was under the shade of the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the Farewell Pilgrimage — or that a man narrated that to him — while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering a sermon. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Have I conveyed?" We thought he meant us, so we said: "Yes." Then he repeated it three times. And among what he said: "An evening expedition in the way of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it, and a morning expedition in the way of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it. A believer is sacred to another believer: his honor, his wealth, and his life — sacred as the sanctity of this day."
