حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ الثَّقَ

فِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِي

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib narrated to us, from Yaʿlā ibn Murrah al-Thaqafī, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Allah عز وجل said: 'Do not mutilate My servants.'"
