حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ
كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْخِلَافَةُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَالْحُكْمُ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ وَالدَّعْوَةُ فِي الْحَبَشَةِ وَالْهِجْرَةُ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ بَعْدُ

English Translation
Al-Ḥakam ibn Nāfiʿ narrated to us, Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us, from Ḍamḍam ibn Zurʿah, from Shurayḥ ibn ʿUbayd, from Kathīr ibn Murrah, from ʿUtbah ibn ʿAbd: that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'The caliphate is in Quraysh, and the judiciary is among the Anṣār, and the call [to Islam] is in Abyssinia, and the hijrah is among the Muslims and the Muhājirūn thereafter.'
