English Translation
Aswad ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us, Sharīk narrated to us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab, from ʿAmr al-Thumālī who said: the Prophet ﷺ sent a sacrificial offering with me and said, 'If any of them becomes incapacitated, slaughter it, then dip its shoe-sandal in its blood and strike its side with it. Do not eat from it, neither you nor your traveling companions, but leave it for the people.'
