English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us, from Muʿāwiyah — meaning Ibn Ṣāliḥ — from Abū al-Zāhiriyyah who said: I was sitting with ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr on Friday when a man came stepping over people's necks while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was giving the sermon. He said, 'Sit down, for you have caused annoyance and come late.'
